Worth more than birds

I heard the sound of birdsong and looked up. The sound was coming from a big tree. I thought about Matthew 6:26 which says, “Look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap not gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” God does, and will take care of us. . As I looked a whole flock of birds flew into the air. I suddenly realized that God expects us to do what the birds are doing. He expects us to live and be happy. He expects us to fly. God doesn’t want us to sit around and worry. He doesn’t want us to be stressed and strained. Once we have spoken to Him about what we need we can start rejoicing because He has heard us and He is going to take care of us. Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things.” Therefore, don’t stress and allow only good thoughts into your mind, because that’s what God says.
