Praise Jesus

I wrote this poem out if gratitude for everything God has done for me.

My praise is for You, Jesus
Because You breathed life
Into me, into my soul
Amid the pain and the strife

My praise is for You, Jesus
Because You never left me alone
You stood by my side
Even when my heart was stone

My praise is for You, Jesus
Because You stilled the storm
You gave me complete peace
And kept me warm

My praise is for You, Jesus
Because when I cannot see
You light the path
You have prepared for me

My praise is for You, Jesus
Because You don’t count my worth
The way that the world
Measured me since my birth
